The Collective In-Person Events Are Back!
A huge part of The Collective lifestyle is coming back in the form of in-person events, and we are beyond excited! At long last, we can finally get back in the swing of offering our residents the best lifestyle, educational, and active events. In the past year or so, we’ve all waited patiently and diligently through the ups and downs of the pandemic. We dived into virtual events and had some great experiences. As we begin another month, we are excited to unveil some of the real-life, in-person events we have planned over the next couple of months. Below we have curated a summary of the events that are currently scheduled. As things continue to normalize, we will continue to bring back more and more of our popular in-person events. In the meantime, mark your calendars for the upcoming August and September events!
Meet your neighbor Happy Hour: Wednesday, August 11th
It has been too long since we’ve all gotten together! The “meet your neighbor” happy hour is a great place to see and meet some of the new faces that have moved into our community since things got uneasy in the world. So join us for drinks, music, and good vibes as we all get acquainted and create memories with our new neighbors at our Collective community. We can’t wait to see all of our residents’ beautiful faces at this event.
Board Game Night: Thursday, August, 26th
Boardgame nights at the Collective are back! There’s no better way to build community than with an interactive game night! You haven’t seen the full potential of Collective living until you’ve experienced the night full of laughing, drinking, and playing classic games with your neighbors. Residents are welcome to bring a wealth of their favorite board and card games and bond with their neighbors over the spirit of friendly competition.

Sunset Cruise: Thursday, September 2nd
Ready for something different to kick off your Labor Day weekend? Join your neighbors on a 2-hour Sunset Cruise along the Potomac River, and watch the sunset over DC’s most beautiful monuments. Tickets include open bar, light food, and stunning views.

Poker Night: Tuesday, September 14th
While some events are making a comeback, others are making their first appearance! We’re happy to introduce “Poker Night” at The Collective. We’ll provide the chips and play money. You bring the fun and the strategy. All of these ingredients will make for a fun night! At The Collective, we welcome the opportunity for residents to partake in new experiences. So whether you’re a poker veteran or if you’re trying your hand for the first time, join us for a high-stakes game of poker at The Collective!
Sporting In-Person Events:
The coming back of social events also means the expansion of our already-in-progress in-person sporting events! The completion of our latest building, The Garrett, gave way for us to introduce a new wave of weekly sporting fun. Below is a list of the weekly sporting events you can join!
