Earlier this year, we asked you, our residents, to share your stories about life at Park Chelsea at The Collective and how it allows you to thrive. Stories poured in about everything from entertaining and impressing guests on the rooftop and in your apartments to training for marathons and rehabilitating injuries in the fitness center, indoor pool and steam rooms. It is our belief that calling The Collective home truly provides an opportunity for our residents to thrive, and we think that story deserves to be told.
Here, one of our contest winners and residents, Cassie, shares her story:
“I remember walking into Park Chelsea for the first time during a tour with Connor Fay. Everything about the place encompassed my lifestyle and even opportunities that I wouldn’t have never considered. It didn’t take long for me and my husband to sign the lease and say sayonara to our previous apartment – excited for a new adventure for ourselves (at the time we were newly engaged).
The amenities is what sold me, hands down. The fitness center and yoga room have turned into my second home. I’ve been able to train for races on the treadmills and I’ve purchased Peloton cycling shoes because of my obsession for Peloton.
The indoor lap pool has allowed my husband to get better at swimming, before, he really only knew how to doggy paddle.
I fortunately secured a garden plot this year, and as hesitant as I was in caring for something (other than myself), I thought to myself, “how many apartments in DC have a garden plot on the rooftop where you’re able to grow your own veggies and herbs?”
Aside from that, Park Chelsea goes above and beyond with their monthly events. Beer and chocolate? Yes, please! Because of all the amenities, living at Park Chelsea has truly made my life a whole lot easier and more enjoyable. Thank you to the staff and maintenance team, who work to keep service and building in pristine condition!”
