COMMUTING TO AMAZON HQ FROM THE COLLECTIVE APARTMENTS

By car, The Collective Apartments is approximately 4 miles (10 mins) away from the Amazon Headquarters in Crystal City, VA. Drivers will need to use I-395 South for the most convenient route. Amazon HQ is also accessible from The Collective Apartments via Metro train services. This commute will take approximately 30 minutes using the “Green” and “Red” Metro lines starting at Navy Yard Metro Station. Commuters’ final destination will be the Crystal City Metro Station. And for all of the Amazon HQ employees who don’t mind pedaling out a nice morning ride, biking to work is made easy when you live at The Collective Apartments. Using the Mount Vernon Trail, you are approximately 5.7 miles (30-minute bike ride) from the Amazon Headquarters in Crystal City, VA. Amazon’s second headquarters base, otherwise known as “HQ2”  is coming to Crystal City, Virginia and the excitement buzzing through the entire DC Metro area is extraordinary! With the arrival of their new headquarters, Amazon will employ a total of 25,000 new workers over a 10-year span. Once complete, the new Metropolitan Park headquarters will feature two 22-story LEED platinum-certified towers totaling 2.1 million square feet of office space. The building will also open up about 67,000 square feet of exhilarating ground-floor retail combined between the two towers. Amazon is set to break ground on HQ2 in the coming months and is scheduled to be fully complete with development in early 2023.
