WC Smith is thrilled to announce that we will be developing a brand new public dog park in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood. The dog park will be located on the corner of New Jersey Avenue and H Street SE, across the street from the recently opened Agora at The Collective.
In conjunction with CSX, we plan to transform an underused area of land into a space that residents can utilize and enjoy on a daily basis. We hope that the additional park space will create a gateway between the Capitol Hill and Capitol Riverfront neighborhoods.
Having a dog park across the street from The Collective will take our pet-friendly amenities to the next level. Residents already have access to a pet washing station, two rooftop dog parks, and access to Rover dog walking services. Extra green space for our furry friends is always a plus, right?
The dog park has been designed to fully utilize the land. It will be a space that both pets and their owners can enjoy. Benches will be in place to sit and relax, and the park will be fenced in giving dogs more freedom to play.

At The Collective, resident pets are a top priority, and we make sure they feel that way. The addition of the public dog park will give our pet residents another place to run around, play, and continue to live a healthy life.
