We are welcoming the warming Spring weather as construction continues here at Park Chelsea! With leasing for our studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments beginning in just a few short months, we wanted to share some photos and a Park Chelsea construction update to give you an inside peek at what’s happening here onsite.
If you’ve walked or driven by the property recently, you’ve probably noticed that the facade is just about complete! There are a few decorative details that have yet to be installed, so keep an eye out for some fun architectural detail up near the roof.
Speaking of the roof, things are starting to take shape up top! We just know you’re going to love how usable the entire rooftop space is going to be. From an outdoor living space complete with big screen TVs and an outdoor fireplace to the dog park and swimming pool, the rooftop will serve as a great home (not too far) away from home.
One of the best parts about having a great rooftop in Washington, DC is being able to take in some incredible city views. While there are different views to enjoy from almost every part of the rooftop, we really love how these arches perfectly frame the Capitol Building!
When the seasons change and the rooftop pool seems a little ambitious, head to the indoor pool for a splashing good time! Whether you’re swimming laps or taking a little soak, this tranquil space is going to be a true sensory experience. Before long, the wall along the right side of the pool will have some really cool details to brag about.
We love the mix of fluid design, sleek modern finishes and natural elements that are going into creating the Park Chelsea common areas. One of our favorite details are these curved walls.
Our construction crew kept warm through the winter months with these heavy duty heaters; have you ever seen anything like this before? The swirling flame was a little bit mesmerizing…
The Garden Room is going to be a sweet little spot to rest and daydream while gazing out to the courtyard. On a chilly day, residents can come warm themselves by the nice big fireplace!
It has been such a thrilling process to see years of thoughtful planning become a reality. What was so recently just a big hole in the ground will soon be home to some of DC’s luckiest residents.
