Nationals baseball is back!
Our world champion Washington Nationals are set to host the New York Yankees for Opening Day this Thursday, July 23rd. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 7:08 pm by Dr. Anthony Fauci. We know that as a Capitol Riverfront resident you can’t wait to cheer on our home team for this exciting 60-game MLB season!
While our residents will not be able to attend the games physically this year, there are still a number of ways you can show your fandom of the neighborhood Nationals for Opening Day, as well as the entirety of the season!
In the past month, a lot of Capitol Riverfront bars and restaurants opened back up for business in an outdoor and indoor capacity.

BULLPEN OUTDOOR WATCH PARTY: 1299 HALF STREET SE
The Bullpen will be hosting an official Nationals Opening Day watch party! The doors open at 5 pm on Thursday, July 23rd with a BIG SCREEN showing of the Washington Nationals game. Enjoy delicious ice-cold drinks and tasty Due South barbecue while you enjoy the big game under spacious picnic tables with umbrellas. The energy will be incredible as attendees will witness The Nationals begin their run for back-to-back World Series Championships.
The Bullpen will host watch parties for every Nationals game for the coming season. So don’t worry if a particular game is sold out. There are plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy a Nationals game at the Bullpen this upcoming season.

All outdoor dining guests must be seated, and patrons must place orders and be served while sitting at tables.
