Capitol Riverfront Eats: The Brig Public Beergarden

It seems like every time we look up these days, there is a new restaurant cropping up in the Capitol Riverfront!  While our inner foodies could not be more excited about this, we’ve been waiting for something truly unique to join the neighborhood.  When we heard that the Capitol Riverfront was getting its very own beer garden, we knew we had to learn more.

With a grand opening at the end of June, The Brig has already made quite the impression in just a few short months.  The house specialties include exactly what you would expect: namely German beer, craft brews, delicious brats and pretzels, but you’ll be delighted to find a wide variety of offerings, including wine, a full bar and a full menu of grilled foods and snacks.

The patio allows guests to enjoy their traditional German fare with their pooches in tow (yep, they’re just as pet-friendly as we are here at Park Chelsea!), and you won’t miss a minute of the game with 25′ screens projecting all of your favorite sports teams in action.

The Brig is quickly becoming known for their great events, too.  From bringing in guest chefs to show off their skills, to live music, to Beer Yoga (yep, really), there’s something for everyone to enjoy.  Make sure to follow them on Facebook to stay in the loop about upcoming events, like the Pig Roast happening this Saturday!
